The Black Kuhli Loach (approx. 2.0–2.5 inches / 5–6.5 cm) is an extremely peaceful, social scavenger native to slow-moving streams and forest swamps in Southeast Asia. Unlike striped Kuhli varieties, this species features a uniform chocolate-brown to solid black body. They are expert cleanup crew members that spend their time sifting through fine substrate for uneaten food particles.
